Gladys Williams
May 29, 1920 - June 16, 2016
Gladys Amanda Williams, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother passed peacefully from this life the morning of June 16, 2016, after a gradual decline in health, and went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in her 96th year. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregivers during the last days of her life.
Gladys is survived by her six children (and spouses): Hazel (Urban), Frank (Klossmerle), Joan, Lenworth (Aslair), Mark (Janet) and Angela; son-in-law Vibert Dawkins; fifteen grandchildren: Sonia, Marlene, Rohan, Alicia, Sheryl, Tricea, Kadeem, Kerion, Tashna, Shazzan, Rochelle, Candace, Renae, Jerine & Regine: seven great-grandchildren: Nicholas, James, Darius, Sydney, Aliyah, Jonathan, Paris; and two great-great grandchildren: Cyasia and Vivienne. Gladys is also survived by her brothers Clinton and Gladstone Bascoe and sister Claire Bascoe. She was preceded in death by her husband David, her daughter Maureen Dawkins, her brothers Dennis and Roy Bascoe and her sisters Peggy and Ruby Bascoe.
Our beloved Mama may be gone but she will forever live in our hearts.
