<div itemprop="description">Pastor Myrtle May Morrison a beloved wife, mother, sister grandmother and minister went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on March 11, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. After a brave fight with multiple illnesses, Pastor Morrison, a resident of North York, Ontario, passed away to glory at the age of seventy one surrounded by her husband and family. <br /> <br />Pastor Myrtle Morrison was born in Manchester, Jamaica, WI on October 22, 1944. After graduating from high school in Jamaica, she continued on to receive various diplomas and certificates related to the nursing profession from Humber and Seneca Colleges. Pastor Morrison also went on to complete various religious courses held by the World Bible School. <br /> <br />Pastor Morrison worked in the private sector of the nursing field for 10 years finally accepting a position with the government working as a counsellor with mentally disabled adults. Pastor Morrison had many interests and hobbies such as collecting rare antiques, paintings and books. Pastor Morrison loved working with the children and youth at the International United Bethel Assembly Church where she was the Assisting Pastor for 25 plus years. From a young age Pastor Morrison was destined to be a warrior for God, a task she took up wearing the whole armour of God. At the age of fifteen Pastor Morrison gave her life to the Lord and started her spiritual journey to becoming a great woman of God. <br />Myrtle Morrison was married to Samuel Morrison on June 26, 1966; they were married 51 heart felt years. Together they raised six children and adored twenty two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Pastor Morrison was a kind, generous, intelligent women who inspired people with her faith and hope in God. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, minister and friend. She was serious about her work for the Lord, but she was also known for her sense of humour and enjoyed telling stories about her childhood. <br /> <br />Pastor Morrison leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her husband Samuel, sons Micheal and Joseph; daughters Judith, Marcia, Elezabeth and Annmarrie; grandchildren, Naomi, Aaron, Joseph, Elijah, Jessica, Jakira, Brianna, James, Jada-Le, Isaiah, Caleb, Deshawn, Isabel, Anthony, Andrew, Nathaniel, Jacob, Jahmark, Jahcia, Malachi, Anaya and Bridgette-Shaye, great grandchildren Nathan and Ariel; loving sisters Carlene Brown, Brendalyn Rowe, Karen Thomas, Joy Francis and Marcelyn Francis, brothers William Francis, Fredrick Francis, Clive Francis, Johnny Spencer, Collin Thomas, Alvin Thomas, Jimmy Thomas and Clovis Thomas; many cousins, nieces and nephews. <br />She was predeceased by her parents Ellen Thomas and Vernal Francis, sisters Dezrine Spencer and Charmaine Thomas. <br /> <br />Visitation will be held at Scott Funeral Home --West Toronto Chapel, 127 Weston Rd., Toronto ON Canada on April 1, 2016 5:00PM- 8:00 PM. <br />Funeral Services will be held at Revival Time Tabernacle, Toronto, ON Canada, 4340 Dufferin Street, Toronto, ON, Canada, on Saturday April 2, 2016 9:00 AM &ndash; 12:00 PM. Burial will follow the funeral at Glenview Memorial Gardens 7541 Highway #50, Woodbridge, ON, CANADA, Saturday, April 2, 2016 1:00 PM - 1:30 PM. <br /></div>
